Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026. This policy explains how JobDiviner processes information when providing its browser extension and online services.
Information we process
- Account data: your sign-in email address, verification status, session credentials, and credit balance.
- Service content: audio, transcripts, questions, selected web text, and AI responses when you choose to start listening or submit a request.
- Transaction and operational records: order identifiers, amounts, payment status, credit usage, and access or error records needed for security and troubleshooting. Paddle handles full payment card details; JobDiviner does not receive full card numbers.
How we use and share information
- We use this information to authenticate users, transcribe speech, generate responses, calculate credits, reconcile payments, provide support, and protect the service. Audio is transmitted only after you start listening and stops when you end the session.
- Relevant content is sent to the speech recognition and AI providers configured for the service. Microsoft Azure Speech is currently used for speech recognition; AI requests are sent to the configured model provider. Paddle processes payments and related transaction data. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and security
- Account, order, and credit records are stored on the server for service delivery and transaction, accounting, and security obligations. Audio and text are processed during a session; we do not provide a permanent recording library in your account. The extension stores sign-in state and necessary preferences locally in your browser.
- We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information, although no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and contact
- You can stop listening or sign out in the extension. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, contact us using the email below. Some transaction records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
- If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its effective date.
